'OR WHAT CAN A THEOSOPHIST LEARN FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT?'
Finian Heavey (Nottingham)
THE LECTURER
[Finian Heavey]
Finian Heavey
ABOUT THE LECTURE

Finian's talk will show how a dream detailed in a few verses in the book of Genesis sets off a whole string of ladder-based symbolism. Covering things as diverse as Freemasonry, the cult of Mithras (itself a profound influence), the Book of Isaiah and the practice of Judaism, down to esoteric practices over the last 200 years, and including contemporary ’New Age’ Ascension thinking.
