Tim Wyatt

Mysterious energies shape and control us and our universe, potent energies which science has yet to identify, let alone recognise. In this talk Tim Wyatt explores what we know about the mysterious forces of prana, kundalini and fohat along with the etheric, astral, and mental energies mentioned so frequently in theosophical writings. How do they affect us and our planet. How do they operate? Where do they originate? Can we control these forces?
Humans also have stupendous powers and unlimited potential to evolve into true spiritual beings but are largely ignorant of who they are and how they work. Society, religion, education and other pressures often force us to severely limit that potential by downgrading and doubting our own abilities and possibilities. Theosophy and the Ageless Wisdom tradition are clear on one thing we are all gods in the making and we can accelerate our journey towards that goal if we choose to do so. These little understood energies hold the key.

A lifelong spiritual explorer and a student of the esoteric mysteries, occult sciences and the Ageless Wisdom. Tim Wyatt has spent five decades working as a journalist in all sections of the broadcast, print and online media. A dedicated student of consciousness research, he is the founder of the Leeds-based School of Applied Wisdom.
As its name suggests The School of Applied Wisdom focuses on understanding practical aspects of the Ageless Wisdom, identifying how we can use key ideas and cosmic laws in our everyday lives. Each session examines how esoteric theory can be applied successfully to virtually all aspects of modern human activity. The school runs interactive workshop sessions for those interested in gaining a greater depth of understanding about themselves and the wider cosmos.
Tim travels extensively giving talks, seminars and workshops on occult topics to the Theosophical Society in England and many other groups.
Despite or perhaps even because of, having no recognised academic qualifications whatsoever, he has won awards for his plays and television documentaries. Tim is also the author of numerous novels, short stories, articles, non-fiction works and poetry. He is the founder of several publishing companies and two record labels. His other diversely chequered roles include film director, radio talk show host, car designer, public relations consultant, funeral celebrant, TV and film actor, musician, death counsellor, barman, teacher, DJ and advisor to government departments.
Tim is an avid walker, animal lover, book and art collector and naturalist. Apart from brief stints in London, Thailand and North West England, he has spent most of his life in the Yorkshire Pennines. These days he makes only rare and reluctant visits to cities.
Tim is the Treasurer of Leeds Theosophical Society, and a National Lecturer for The Theosophical Society in England.
